When photographing people, I look through the lens and wait for that moment when they aren't trying to pose for me. I see photography as another artistic outlet, and so I try to take pictures of them the way I would want to paint them. I attempt to capture something about a person that reveals the very essence of who they are. One of my favorite muses is my youngest daughter Jordan because she acts just as natural in front of a camera as she would at any other time.
